Glad to meet you 2

Glad to meet you!

Welcome to this series of blogs and websites.

  1. Depending on your views as to what role you could play in the science education of your child/ren, you have the opportunity for a lot of involvement.

  2. My two daughters are now 59 and 54.  I was a Governor at their primary school.  It needed help with science teaching due to the teacher being ill.

  3. My career within foreign academe 40%  and tourism development 60% in round figures involved working in fifteen countries.  I was often 'incorporated ' (I volunteered to help with needs).  "As you're here, could you help with English teaching?

  4. TEFL  full time over ten weeks course was the obvious recourse.   Helping at schools in eight foreign countries.  Three of them included science teaching.  Sometimes 'in the field' pacing out astronomical distances to teach them such, and numbers.

  5. Covis arrived after starting an affair with www and the first blog was  born eight years ago.  Many difficult situations I imagine arise using online resources. I've had my share!

  6. The first blog - Our Science Club  site has been not editable since 2023 and holds some 90 pages.  About 40 pages accessed from links elsewhere have been spread across My Primary School sites in case anything happens to one of them.

Back to the front here.   Write a comment on this page, if you will.

The pupil pages are referenced unless it is a small page.  Keep an eye open for their page on the topic.

Ask them which they prefer and please use the Contact page.

That's enough to give you what I hope to be a warm welcome!
