Mass is not easy to understand.

Mass is a     mecasure     of how much matter we'll come to that there is in an object, while weight is a measure of the size of the pull of gravity on the object. 


Mass is the amount of matter in an object. Mass is measured in kilograms (kg). Weight is a force due to the pull of gravity on an object. 


Mass and weight are not equal in science: 

Mass
The amount of matter in an object, measured in kilograms (kg) or grams (g). 

Mass remains the same regardless of the object's location. 

Weight
The force of gravity acting on an object, measured in newtons (N). 

Weight changes depending on the strength of the gravitational field acting on the object. 

For example, you weigh less on the moon than on Earth because the moon's mass is different from Earth's. 

In everyday life, mass and weight are often used interchangeably, but in physics they have different meanings.
